An accessible hotel next to a park
Hotel Green Park Tsurui is an onsen hotel located right next to a park and camping ground. The onsen features an open air bath with hot spring waters that continuously flow from the source. Visitors who are not staying at the hotel can also enjoy day trip baths, eat at the restaurant, or go shopping at the souvenir shop.
The hotel was constructed with accessibility in mind, with wheelchair accessible (barrier-free) guest rooms and a special wheelchair for use at the onsen. It’s a hotel where the elderly or disabled can stay without worries.
“Kakenagashi” hot spring waters
The onsen at the hotel features an open air bath with a cozy atmosphere. The hot spring here is “kakenagashi” which means that the water flows continuously from the source, with no additional heating or added water, and is not circulated for re-use. The waters are slightly alkaline, which has a moisturizing effect on the skin.
